BENTON – MANAGING DIRECTOR
As Managing Director of Hunter AHP and Mental Health, Benton is charged with keeping the company pushing ever-forwards. From leading business development and managing internal recruitment to getting involved with day-to-day recruitment activities, marketing and HR, Benton is across all parts of our business.
Benton hails from New Zealand and grew up in Central Otago on the South Island. He started his recruitment career in 2007 employing architects before moving to the UK and recruiting Occupational Therapists. Benton quickly progressed into a managerial position supplying Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Psychologists, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists and Registered Nurses to both NHS and private clients.
Benton now lives in South West London with his wife Anna, Lily (7) and Bruno (5). He enjoys anything that gets him outdoors, from cycling to touch rugby. Benton is, rather obviously, a big supporter of the All Blacks, as well as Liverpool FC and the New York Knicks. He is a regular theatre-goer and, when possible, savours snatching a few minutes to bury himself in a Bernard Cornwell novel.
GRETA – COMPLIANCE MANAGER
Greta began working in healthcare compliance 4 years ago where she learned the basics of how to process documents, apply for training and carry out Government checks. Being a hugely detail-conscious individual, Greta quickly progressed to become team leader and is now Compliance Manager for both Hunter AHP and Mental Health.
Working in compliance means continuous monitoring of documents and adherence of processes and procedures – it is never-ending, all-consuming and keeps you on your toes. Greta ensures the smooth running of the compliance service while upholding the Hunter values and vision. She is a highly organised and process driven team player whose goal is to ensure that the Hunter compliance function is viewed as an enabler for the business, meets Hunter’s clients’ needs, and guarantees a smooth process for all candidates.
Outside of the office, Greta likes travelling and exploring new cities. She enjoys learning new things, broadening her horizons and meeting new people. Greta is happiest when life’s little things make her smile.
CHRIS – PHARMACY TEAM LEAD
Chris heads up our Pharmacy division and started working in the world of recruitment at the tender age of 17. He quickly found his passion lay in growing and developing his knowledge, providing the most cutting edge, innovative and cost-effective recruitment solutions, and sourcing the right employees for clients’ organisations.
With a personal connection to Front Line Clinical Care within Acute Hospitals, Chris’s devotion for the past six years has been very much on providing clinical staff within the healthcare sector, particularly focusing on the NHS.
When not in the kitchen mastering his cookery skills, Chris loves to travel the length and breadth of the UK with most weekends spent visiting beaches and historical sites. He also enjoys fine dining and the occasional spa retreat.
HENRY – PHYSIO AND SLT TEAM LEAD
Heading up the Physiotherapy and Speech & Language Therapy side of Hunter AHP, Henry strongly believes in building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike. With a keen eye for detail and a competitive streak, Henry enjoys working in the fast-moving world of recruitment and is committed to delivering an exceptional service.
Following a Politics degree at the University of Leeds, Henry launched his professional career in PR and soon progressed into general recruitment. Henry honed his skills at an IT consultancy before joining the world of healthcare recruitment and specialising in placing AHPs.
When he’s not at work, Henry is an avid Sarries fan and supports the team through thick and thin… Henry also enjoys international travel, has recently visited Florence and enjoys going to the gym every day.

ALEX – PHARMACY CONSULTANT
Alex left school after A-levels and headed out into the world with absolutely no idea what he wanted to do as a career. He worked as a labourer and took a plumbing course after a year or two but realised it just wasn’t for him. Life went on, and Alex found himself living in Lyon, France at the age of 20. He spent a year there teaching English to French children and came back with a new set of language skills: “c’etait tres bien!”
After coming back to the UK in his early twenties, Alex fell into recruitment by chance and has never looked back! He is a people driven person and that’s part of the reason he loves coming into work every day; he is surrounded by people who he considers friends more than colleagues, and he gets to interact with people on all scales whether over the phone or face to face. Alex is excited to see Hunter grow into something huge, is glad to join at such an early stage of the journey and is incredibly proud to be a consultant on the Pharmacy desk.

In addition to our policies on equality and diversity, our corporate social responsibility includes a commitment to consider environmental sustainability. Hunter AHP considers the environment in its corporate activities. This spans from reducing the paper usage in our offices to promoting the use of public transport to reduce our carbon footprint.
THE HUNTER FOUNDATION IS THE CHARITABLE ARM OF HUNTER.
The Foundation supports and raises funds for a range of good causes and is run by Hunter’s staff with the support of our clients, candidates, interims and suppliers. The Foundation raises money through a selection of sponsored charitable activities or events. Hunter organise a selection of events throughout the year. Staff, clients, candidates, interims and suppliers are also encouraged and supported to get involved in their own events that raise funds for the Foundation’s charities.
